Celebrating Women Today and Yesterday

Today, March 8, is International Women's Day,
and it is celebrated worldwide!

This celebration raises awareness of women's achievements - economically, politically, and socially.  As we continue to research our heritage, remember what we are blessed with, and what our ancestors endured and which shaped our lives today.

Today and everyday, take a moment to reflect on and give thanks to the past lives of our female ancestors, whoever they may be.  I, like you, have a deep respect for their lives, strengths, and inspiring stories.

And, men, you are not to be forgotten.  Each year on November 19, men are celebrated for their contrbution to our lives.  While not widely celebrated, this day holds a powerful significance in different parts of the world.

Thank you, mom, grandmom, and all who proceeded me!
